The engraving
Choose the word that stays. We engrave it on the inner shank, against the skin: no one will see it, and you will always know it is there.
The inner shank
A secret engraved on the inner shank. Visible only to the wearer.

Anatomy of a wound
Oxidized 925 silver aged with deep oxidation, shaped as a ring opened by a clean cut. Wound worn as signature. Five red-red-orange lab-grown spinels in brilliant cut held along the cut (0.15ct total), red ink on silver skin.
Materials
Material
925 Sterling Silver
Finish
Chiaroscuro
The signature finish of the house: the light and shadow Caravaggio brought to Naples, form torn out of the dark. Every surface is burnished by hand so the shadow stays in the grooves and the light catches the relief. No two pieces carry it the same way.
The stone
Stones
5 laboratory grown red spinels, orange leaning · brilliant cut · 0.15ct total
A red spinel grown in a laboratory, cut round brilliant. The colour leans warm, a red that opens towards orange, a lit ember rather than arterial blood, and it holds exactly that tone across every facet. Spinel is hard and bright and takes a sharp polish, so the stone stays crisp against oxidised silver instead of sinking into it. No veils, no shadows, nothing interrupting the light.
Each stone is set by hand, one at a time, and the seat is closed around it so the metal holds the stone and not the glue. Colour is repeatable, so this reading is always available.
Each stone is selected by hand and set individually. Slight variations in quantity or placement may occur from one piece to the next, every setting is shaped by the artisan to honour the unique character of the casting. When placing your order, if you wish to personally select the stones together with us, write to support@brokenhearts.co: dedicated consultation included to choose the perfect stones for your piece together.
Made for you alone
Where it is born
We do not list handmade among the virtues: for us it is the blood of the work. Each piece is born in the Oromare workshops, where modern technique serves the hand, and is finished in Naples' Borgo degli Orefici, where metal has been struck for seven hundred years. It is not an added value. It is the only way we know.
Final, by nature
Born for you alone, no piece can be returned. Yet from client to client, Broken Hearts reserves the right to turn every request into the finest client experience you have ever had.
Tied to a date?
Handwork can ask for a few extra days. If your piece is a gift or bound to a date, order one to two weeks ahead and write to support@brokenhearts.co: it takes priority.
The Broken Hearts Promise
Forged for you
Every piece is born only when you claim it. Nothing waits in a warehouse: your order wakes the atelier, and what leaves it exists for you alone.
Never mass-made
We work in small numbers by choice. No seasons, no restocks, no discounts on what is already rare: when a piece retires, it does not return.
Every piece carries its fracture.
Not fixed. Not hidden. Worn.
The light lives where the metal gave.
Forged One by One
Handcrafted in Southern Italy. No shortcuts.
