We use what you send us, meaning your name, contact details, city, CV, work, links and message, only to assess your application, reply to you and write to you again if a suitable role opens. The legal basis is your own request to be considered (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR): Italian law does not require consent for an unsolicited application (Art. 111-bis, Legislative Decree 196/2003).

Send only what shows how you work. We do not need a photo of you, your date of birth, your marital or family status, health data, your political, religious or trade union views, or what you earn or used to earn: if your CV contains them, we do not use them.

No automated system decides on your application. Apart from the people who handle it, the data pass only through the providers that run our email and website on our behalf, as processors. We never use them for newsletters or advertising and we do not pass them to anyone.

We keep them for 24 months from our last contact, so we can come back to you if a suitable role opens, then we delete them. You can ask at any time to see, correct or delete them by writing to support@brokenhearts.co, and you can lodge a complaint with the Italian supervisory authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (garanteprivacy.it).
