Wax, lost-wax casting at 720 degrees, hand, fire, hallmark. It passes through three workshops: the casting, the finishing, the setting. Three to seven days of work per piece, up to ten for the most complex.

That your piece does not exist until you order it. No warehouse, no series: it is born for you after payment is confirmed. That is why it is final.

Because it is made by hand, within half a millimetre. Two identical pieces are an assembly line, not an atelier.

Solid. The Golden line is 18kt gold (750), cast, never plated, never dipped. We do not sell shortcuts.

24kt is too soft for a life. 18kt, seventy-five percent gold, is the standard of fine jewelry: beauty that holds its years.

Measure the inner diameter of a ring you already wear, or wrap a thread around the finger: the millimetres divided by 3.14. In doubt, take the larger: resizing is free, always.

Take the larger. Fingers swell with heat, and wide bands run tight: past 6 millimetres, half a size up. Either way, resizing is free, for life.

Steal a ring for one night, or ask whoever shares the drawer. And if you get it wrong, you have not: we resize it free, as many times as it takes. You pay only the journey to the atelier.

Rings: usually 10–16 IT for her, 20–26 for him. Bracelets: 16–18 cm for her, 19–21 for him: the wrist plus one and a half centimetres. Averages, not rules: the body decides. In doubt, measure. Or write to us.

Choose for where it must fall. On her: 40–45 cm, at the neck or the collarbone. On him: 50–55 is the classic register, 60 falls on the chest. Two lengths together, one short, one long, never touching: the only layering you need.

Little. Last on, first off: after the perfume, before the sleep. Now and then, a soft cloth. Your skin does the rest.

Chlorine, the gym, housework, the shower. Not because it is fragile: because it is real silver, and real silver answers the world.

What must happen is happening. Where your hand lives, the light returns; the dark stays in the grooves. No polish, no silver dips: mild soap only. And if you want the full dark back: re-oxidation at the atelier.

The forge first: three to seven working days, up to ten for the complex ones. Then the journey: Italy two days by express courier (UPS), Europe three to five, the rest of the world five to ten. Ready and confirmed by 4 PM: it leaves the same day.

From $810 up, standard shipping is on us. Below that, and for express, the checkout calculates it by destination. Always tracked, always insured.

In the EU, no: prices include VAT. Outside the Union, UK, USA, Switzerland, any duties belong to the receiver. Your country decides them, not us.

Every piece leaves already dressed. And for a true gift there is The Gift, the giver's delivery, sealed: The Gift

No. And not to punish you: because every piece is born when you order it, for you alone (art. 59, para 1, letters c and e of the Italian Consumer Code).

Rings are closed around your hand. Earrings, hygiene makes them yours only. Chains are cut to your body. Everything else is born in the configuration you chose.

And if, by rare exception, a piece comes back to the atelier, it is not resold: it is melted, and the silver goes back to the crucible. Nothing returns to the market.

What stays whole is The Custody: the lifetime guarantee. For as long as we exist and work, we mend what breaks: the law asks for 24 months, we do not expire. And a wrong size is not a return: it is a service, free, forever.

If the forge has not started, anything can be corrected: write to us at once at support@brokenhearts.co. Once the metal is cast, the piece is yours.

Photos of piece and parcel within 48 hours to support@brokenhearts.co, with your order number. Do not try to repair it. We take it from there: free pickup, repair, replacement or refund. Defects are our business, by law and by choice, and The Custody does not expire.

For life. The Custody: if it breaks, bends or loses its stone, we repair it, for as long as we exist and work. The 24-month legal guarantee (articles 128-135 of the Italian Consumer Code) stays intact: it is the minimum. Our minimum is forever.

It does not cover the wear you choose: impacts, chemicals, neglect. Natural tarnish is not a defect: it is silver, living.
