Oxidized 925 silver aged with deep oxidation, shaped like a fragment emerged from ruins. Five lab-grown diamonds in brilliant cut aligned along the relic (0.15ct total), what the collapse couldn't dim.

Chiaroscuro
Chiaroscuro is the Broken Hearts signature finish, the light and shadow Caravaggio brought to Naples: light tearing form out of the dark. Every surface is burnished by hand so the shadow stays in the grooves and the light catches the relief. No two pieces carry it the same way.
The diamond, explained
Created, not mined
Lab-grown
A real diamond, grown in a laboratory instead of mined. The same carbon crystal, the same hardness, the same fire as a mined stone, indistinguishable to the eye and to the loupe. No mining, fully traceable. Always declared as laboratory-grown.
Colour
D–F
Diamond colour runs from D, perfectly colourless and the rarest, down to Z, visibly yellow. Yours is D–F: the colourless tier, the whitest a diamond gets. The less colour, the more light passes through it.
Clarity
VVS
Clarity measures the tiny natural marks inside the stone, its inclusions. VVS means Very, Very Slightly included: flaws so minute they are invisible to the naked eye and barely visible even under a 10× loupe. Almost perfectly clean.
Carat0.15ct total
Laboratory grown diamonds, melee size, round brilliant cut. Clarity VVS2, colour D, E, F. Chemically, optically and physically diamond: the same carbon lattice, the same hardness, the same fire, grown in weeks under the conditions that take the earth a billion years.
We select the melee ourselves rather than buying a mixed parcel, so the pavé reads as one continuous surface instead of a row of slightly different stones. Each stone is set by hand, one at a time.
Carat is the diamond's weight, not its size (1 carat = 0.2 grams). More carat, more presence.

Broken Hearts selects its lab-grown diamonds already in the D–F, VVS range, directly from chosen suppliers. On small-carat stones no individual certificate exists, in any jeweller: quality is guaranteed by the selection at the source, not by a piece of paper.

Every piece is born entirely by hand, so a delay of a few days can occasionally occur. If your piece is a gift or tied to a date, order one to two weeks ahead and write to support@brokenhearts.co: we will give it priority.
