MATERIA
The first chapter, and the last.
I didn’t choose the first ring. It came when something I had worked on with others was over, and over badly. I was simply down. Working with them, I thought that was my limit. Then I made that ring on my own, without asking anyone’s permission. I didn’t even like it, and I never have. But it made me feel I existed. Which one it is, I won’t say. From there I took away, for months, until only the shape was left. Materia is what was left. It starts here, and it comes back here.
