Certified Italian refineries, and reclaimed silver from our suppliers, melted down again. Even the metal, here, is born from what others discard.

Natural stones and LACRIMA diamonds have the Stone Card, digital: the maison itself declares the origin and authenticity of what it sets, and the concierge issues it after the order. Anyone who also wants a certificate from an independent gemological laboratory, such as IGI, asks the concierge for their own piece: it is a paid service.

In Italy, all of them, in our own workshops. We design them; they are born in Oromare, in Marcianise, and finished in the Borgo degli Orefici in Naples, where the stones are set by hand: every piece passes through three workshops, one after the other, all of them BROKEN HEARTS. The silver is remelted and returned to the 925 standard by certified Italian refineries. The reliquaries are full-grain calfskin from calves raised in Italy, cut and sewn by hand in Italy. The only thing that comes from outside is the stones.

They are the only thing not born in Italy, and the reason is simple: a stone is born where the earth makes it, not where it is worked. The rubies of the SANGUINIS pieces in gold come from Mozambique. The founder chooses every natural stone by hand, and each arrives with its Stone Card, which states the species, the cut, the carats and the measurements.

Wax, lost-wax casting at 720 degrees, hand, fire, hallmark. It passes through three stages: the casting, the finishing, the setting. Up to twelve working days of work per piece, usually sooner. If a piece needs more time, the maison tells you in writing before the deadline.

That your piece does not exist until you order it. No warehouse, no series: it is born for you after payment is confirmed. That is why it is final.

Because it is made by hand, within half a millimetre. Two identical pieces are an assembly line, not an atelier.

Yes. Tell us your story in a few lines, before the cart: the maison chooses the words and engraves them, with no proofs to approve and no waiting. If you change your mind, write to the maison within 2 to 3 days of your order. On gold the engraving is a gift from the maison; on silver it is paid. What is engraved stays as long as the metal: forever.

Solid. The Golden line is 18kt gold (750), cast, never plated, never dipped. We do not sell shortcuts.

24kt is too soft for a life. 18kt, seventy-five percent gold, is the gold the maison chose: beauty that holds its years.

Measure the inner diameter of a ring you already wear, or wrap a thread around the finger: the millimetres divided by 3.14. In doubt, take the larger: resizing is free, always.

Take the larger. Fingers swell with heat, and wide bands run tight: past 6 millimetres, half a size up. Either way, resizing is free, for life.

Steal a ring for one night, or ask whoever shares the drawer. And if you get it wrong, you have not: we resize it free, as many times as it takes. You pay only the journey to the atelier.

Rings: usually 10–16 IT for her, 20–26 for him. Bracelets: 16–18 cm for her, 19–21 for him: the wrist plus one and a half centimetres. Averages, not rules: the body decides. In doubt, measure. Or write to us.

Choose for where it must fall. On her: 40–45 cm, at the neck or the collarbone. On him: 50–55 is the classic register, 60 falls on the chest. Two lengths together, one short, one long, never touching: the only layering you need.

Little. Last on, first off: after the perfume, before the sleep. Now and then, a soft cloth. Your skin does the rest.

Chlorine, the gym, housework, the shower. Not because it is fragile: because it is real silver, and real silver answers the world.

What must happen is happening. Where your hand lives, the light returns; the dark stays in the grooves. No polish, no silver dips: mild soap only. And if you want the full dark back: re-oxidation at the atelier.

The forge first: up to twelve working days, usually sooner. If a piece needs more time, the maison tells you in writing before the deadline. Then the journey: Italy two days by express courier (UPS), Europe three to five, the rest of the world five to ten. Ready and confirmed by 4 PM: it leaves the same day.

From € 300 up, standard shipping is on us. Below that, and for express, the checkout calculates it by destination. Always tracked, always insured.

No. BROKEN HEARTS does not offer discounts of any kind: the price is the same for everyone, all year round.

No. And not to punish you: because every piece is born when you order it, for you alone (art. 59, para 1, letter c of the Italian Consumer Code).

Rings are closed around your hand. Chains are cut to your body. Everything else is born in the configuration you chose.

And if, by rare exception, a piece comes back to the maison, it is not resold: it is melted, and the silver goes back to the crucible. Nothing returns to the market.

The 24-month legal guarantee stays intact, and so does The Custody, which covers the metal of the pieces against breakage. And a wrong size is not a return: it is a service, free, forever: you pay only the way to the atelier, the way back is ours.

And if something is wrong, write to us: a person reads every message, and the maison decides case by case.

If the forge has not started, anything can be corrected: write to us at once at support@brokenhearts.co. Once the metal is cast, the piece is yours.

Photos of piece and parcel within 48 hours to support@brokenhearts.co, with your order number. Do not try to repair it. We take it from there: free pickup, repair, replacement or refund. Defects are our business, by law and by choice.

The 24-month legal guarantee (articles 128-135 of the Italian Consumer Code) stays intact. On top of it there is The Custody: it covers the metal of every piece in silver or gold (AUREUM) against breakage. If the piece breaks, the maison takes it back and repairs it. Stones are not covered.

For accidental damage, stones included, write to the atelier: the most suitable solution is worked out together, case by case, with any costs kept as low as possible by the maison.

Natural tarnish is not a defect: it is silver, living.
