THE STATES OF THE FORGE

Every BROKEN HEARTS piece is forged by hand, one at a time. Not every piece stays within reach forever, and one is born from silver that was already yours. This page explains the four states a piece can live in, and what each one asks of you.

01 · In the forge

Made to order, for anyone

The living catalog. A piece with a price is a piece the forge takes on, made to order, for anyone who chooses it, while the month still has room.

How it looks in the grid: price visible, ready to order.

02 · SANCTVM

Only for those who already carry one

Some pieces are kept, not sold to anyone browsing. Whoever has completed a first order, signed into their account, sees the piece priced and ready to order. Whoever has not sees it veiled among the others, with an Enter panel leading to that same account. The first piece does not close a purchase, it opens a door.

How it looks in the grid: veiled, sigil only, no price.

03 · REQUIEM

Retired, never forged again

Some pieces were desired more than we had foreseen, and we chose to stop forging them. They keep their page and lose their price. Each carries its own reason.

When a piece enters REQUIEM, its page remains: price extinguished, forge stopped. It is not marketing. It is an archive of what does not come back.

Every REQUIEM piece keeps its own list. The retired piece does not come back: its forge is stopped for good. Those enrolled will be the first to know which piece is born in its place.

How it looks in the grid: REQUIEM instead of a price.

04 · ORTVS

Your silver, forged a second time

You send me a piece you have worn. I weigh it, I photograph it, I melt it. What is born from that silver cannot be bought in any other way, and its card says how many grams were yours.

This is not a return. No money comes back, a piece does. It begins with a message to the concierge, and what returns has another shape, another name, and one owner.

How it reads on the piece that is born: ORTVS in place of a state, and the grams of your silver on its card.

Visitor, then keeper. The ladder has one step, and you climb it by carrying. The concierge is not a rank: it is the person who greets you on the other side.

The Register

One purchase. Inside for life. No queue, ever.

Entry is a completed first order, nothing else: no invitation, no fee. One purchase, and you are a keeper for life.

What the first piece opens: the SANCTVM pieces, the concierge's direct line, the Register, and no queue at the month's hundred.

Your concierge's contact details are personal and do not go on the site. They arrive with that first order, and they do not change.

The Register itself is not public: no published list, no visible count.

The same door

Ask how a piece is made and the answer comes whole: the wax, the casting, the days it takes, the hand that set the stone. We would rather answer that ten times over than have you wear something you doubt.

Doubt is welcome, and it has an answer. Contempt is not doubt. Whoever has decided that we lie has already walked out, and we only write it down. When that happens the piece does not get made: we would rather lose the order than the bench.

The Register is for life. This is the one thing that ends it, and it has nothing to do with how much you spend.
