CRUX AUREUM LACRIMA

Not a substitute, but a diamond in the fullest sense of the word. Diamond colour runs from D, perfectly colourless and the rarest, down to Z, visibly yellow. Yours is D–F: the colourless tier, the whitest a diamond gets. The less colour, the more light passes through it.

Clarity measures the tiny natural marks inside the stone, its inclusions. VVS means Very, Very Slightly included: flaws so minute they are invisible to the naked eye and barely visible even under a 10× loupe. Almost perfectly clean.

Carat is the diamond's weight, not its size (1 carat = 0.2 grams). More carat, more presence.
