Solid 18kt gold, hand-forged and brought to a satin Aureum finish. Five natural blue sapphires in brilliant cut are set asymmetrically across the band, three larger at the centre, two smaller to the sides. The depth of the night sky stays kept inside each stone.

Aureum is the same chiaroscuro cast in gold: light does not slip away, it lingers like a warm glow rising from the dark. Caravaggio's tension between light and shadow, in metal.

Slight variations in quantity or placement may occur from one piece to the next, every setting is shaped by the artisan to honour the unique character of the casting.
